WATERMARK JOHARI

We have BIG DREAMS for this beautiful mare. She has a superb, uphill way of going
and a canter us dressage folk all search for. She shows great activity in the hind-leg and shoulder, with a slow even tempered rhythm, with long, loping, ground covering strides.

Again, Justus de Jeu has done his job and imparted the ever vital beautiful
temperament. She even acts like a superstar, never just “going” somewhere, but always “strutting”. She seems to know that she is special. A sure-fire dressage superstar with a lot of presence, who will certainly turn heads. Johari will always look super “BLING” as she has an almost black coat that never gets long in winter, so she will always gleam and shimmer. Johari has a kind, uncomplicated, level-headed temperament and she just loves people and cuddles.

WATERMARK JOHARI was the “hands down” champion the 2 year old SAWSH Loose Movement Competition in 2024, and was Reserve Grand Champion (2 nd to her full brother Watermark Just Jublend), with a great score of 82% – the judges loved her…

7 for walk
9 for trot
8.5 for canter
8.5 for type
9 for overall impression – which says it all

We bred WATERMARK JOHARI to FLORIDA TN (Premium and Reserve Champion Oldenburg stallion), and were blessed with a beautiful filly we have named WATERMARK FINN who is now for sale.

Johari was lightly backed before her 3 rd trimester, after which we gave her some time to recover from weaning her foal. She recently underwent successful bone chip surgery and will be in re-hab for the next 8 weeks. (Ends 22 Oct)

If interested in viewing Johari, we will be entering her into the Loose Movement
Competition which will be held at Steyn City in mid November. Johari MAY reach the 16.3 hh mark or beyond, as she was a really tall foal. This uncomplicated mare boxes and travels well and has good quality hooves so will go barefoot.

We believe that she is a top dressage prospect. Her full brother, the strikingly good looking Just Jublend, who is now prelim, is doing exceptionally well and on his way, be believe to Grand Prix. In the right hands, we know that she will follow in his footsteps.
