South Africa is very privileged to have in Uran M some of the highest ranked dressage blood in the world. Uron M is by Flemmingh, who sired the approved sons Krack C, lingh, Mooiman, Kelvin and Mount Everest. Flemmingh’s foals are very much in demand internationally by dressage trainers, riders and owners alike, renowned for their trainability, eagerness to learn, their enjoyment of their work and their big easy paces.

Uron M is out of Germa who is by the stallion Apollonios xx. Apollonios a thoroughbred stallion was strongly favoured for his big uphill paces and his wonderful top line and temperament. Apollonios xx has proven to be an incredibly valuable dam’s sire, case in point is the highly sought after stallion Uphill who is by Oscar out of an Apollonios xx mare.

Uran M is also very valuable in the showjumping market as his pedigree also contains desirable proven lines in Lucky Boy xx, Landgraf and Cor De La Bryere. Uron was selected by the stud to represent their dressage interests. He has been bred to a wide variety of mares from Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds to Appaloosa’s, and always produces quality longlined foals with phenomenal temperaments and paces. As well as being KWPN bred, Uran M is SA Warmblood licensed.

Uran M has through his own results and those of his progeny, secured the coveted South African Warmblood Breeder’s Cup of the Year, on no less than three occasions for Chabalgon Stud. In 2008 Uran M was Grand Champion Warmblood at the prestigious Horse of the Year Show. In 2009 his son Chabal’s Zodiac following in his sire’s footsteps was Grand Champion Warmblood at the 2009 Horse of the Year Show and went on to take top honours as the Supreme Breed Horse Champion for Horse of the Year 2009.

International judges commend Uran M for being of modern type, elegant and refined yet still masculine. Excellent conformation with big loose, elastic, uphill paces and a kind and focused temperament. In the dressage arena he has been an incredibly consistent performer, and is currently training towards Advanced Level.

Uron M’s progeny includes Chabal Zodiac, Chabal Zabio, Chabal Zaphira, Chabal Adagio and Urahno who are all proving themselves in competitive Jumping and Dressage.
