JAZZ

Jazz has done for KWPN breeding in The Netherlands what Donnerhall did in Germany. He was the flagship of modern dressage breeding and clearly stamped his offspring in looks, gaits and often in character.

In 2002 he was pronounced Keur stallion based on his offspring in sport. In 2006 he got the predicate Preferent and in 2007 he was named KWPN Stallion of the Year 2006.

He was ranked number 1 on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking in 2008, 2009, 2010
and 2011.

Jazz has 13 licensed sons and 99 preferent daughters, just like Donnerhall, his string of Grand Prix sons and daughters is never ending. 

Adelinde Cornelissen’s Parzival is of course the flagship as he won Olympic silver (2012) and was European Champion in 2011. He also won individual gold at the 2009 European Championships, double bronze at the 2013 Euros, and kur bronze at the 2014 World Equestrian Games. He was a two time World Cup winner in 2011 and 2012.

The KWPN has counted 125 Dutch warmblood registered offspring by Jazz competing at national and international Grand Prix level and 195 at small tour level.

As a breeding stallion Jazz lives on through his licensed sons Johnson, Don Juan de Hus, Wynton, Jazz Time, Olivi, Jive Magic, T Movistar, Topaasch, amongst many others.

Broere Stud owns two clones by Jazz. They were cloned by the U.S. company Cryozootech and born in 2012.
