He is a wonderful combination of the best bloodlines of Oldenburg and Trakehner, with a dash of Thoroughbred, insuring success as a sire of noble sport horses. He has made a name for himself across the world as a leading dressage sire.
In his career as a sire, De Niro has produced over 86 licensed sons, and his offspring are successful in the dressage arenas world wide. De Niro has proven himself through his own performance in the show ring and through his offspring’s exceptional achievements.

De Niro is the dam sire of our mare Bijou. De Niro has confirmed his status as one of the World’s Best Dressage Stallion’s by ranking #1 on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking no less than 5 times. Not only has De Niro become a legendary dressage sire, he has also been very successful in the sport himself. He was competing at Grand Prix level by age seven. He and his progeny have a string of accolades far to many to mention. We are hoping that some of this superlative blood will be passed on to the foal out of Callaho Bijou we so eagerly await.
