CANTUS

Cantus was a very tall stallion at 16.3 h with enormous presence. He had good stallion expression and heavy neck. Cantus was a very sharp jumper and a very good mover.

Cantus crossed best with mares with a lot of thoroughbred blood. He consistently passed on his jumping ability and movement.

He carried the refining blood of the great Thoroughbred sire, Cottage Son xx. Cantus himself was a successful sire of a number of International showjumpers
and approved stallions.

Cantus produced top showjumpers including Calvaro V (silver at Barcelona Olympics, European Horse of the Year), Come On (Ludger Beerbaum’s international showjumper), Cassius Clay (champion stallion), Coster (2005 German Champion), Christobal (1994 German Champion) and Canaletto.
