CALLAHO BIJOU

We are super excited to have acquired this daughter of dressage super-sire Benicio, when in foal to none other than the famous Lissabon. Bijou and Lissabon, sure did not disappoint. Bijou produced a spectacular super “bling”, faultless colt we have named Watermark Lizario, who at this early stage certainly has us hoping that he is stallion potential.  He certainly has the bloodlines, moves and conformation. Only time will tell…

On her dam line is the world champion, De Niro, who has confirmed his status as one of the World’s Best Dressage Stallion’s by ranking #1 on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking no less than 5 times. Not only has De Niro become a legendary dressage sire and sire of sires, he has also been very successful in the sport himself. He was competing at Grand Prix level at a very young age.

Not only is Bijou blessed with a kind and gentle nature and top rideability, she is also blessed with expressive, flowing movement and a lovely jump. This mare with her matchless pedigree is surely to be considered to be amongst the best of the best.

We were sadly unsuccessful at putting Bijou in foal this year. Frozen semen is definitely a challenge. We are currently undecided as to which stallion we will attempt with this year.
