A’Cappella sports a world class bloodline from all imported bloodstock. Her sire Astrix was ranked No.1 in the world as a 5 year old and then again took the title as World’s No. 1 as a 6 year old dressage stallion. A’Cappella is out of Callaho Geneva, who’s dam, Callaho Satine, is FULL sister to none other than Anky von Grunsven’s Olympic Gold medalist, Salinero, who produced both Olympic dressage and show jumping progeny. 

Watermark A’Cappella takes her work seriously and has an unwavering will to please her rider as best she can. She is suited to a rider looking for a straightforward and dependable dressage, jumping or eventing prospect, and definitely shows aptitude to go to high level sport. This kind and gentle mare not only has beautiful paces and is bold and brave, she also has a good, scopey jump. Her grand dam, Callaho Satine excelled as a jumper in the 1.20m’s in SA. A’Cappella recently competed in novice dressage and took a first place in a South African online dressage competition.

A’Cappella had a beautiful colt by Justus de Jeu (by Johnson), who is the No. 1 top ranking dressage sire in the World (WBFSH) in November 2021. His name is Watermark Just Johnson, now also up for sale. He is a lovely type, beautiful conformation with a very uphill way of going with an excellent walk, and lovely paces, with his Mom’s sweet nature. We believe that he will go on to be a top dressage prospect.
